CISVI: Communities of research on health and independent life

Strategic and singular project framed under the subprogram Avanza R&D, funded by The Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade of Spain.Cisvi project proposes a new research methodology to satisfy the needs of social communities and disabled people through ICT solutions based on “future internet”. This new methodology is called as Social Spaces for Research and Innovation (SSRI).

The methodology used on the research is oriented to detect necessities and complex technological solutions, make prototypes out of them, validate and refine them always away from laboratories and close to real life environments where they are to be implemented. CISVI focuses on three scenarios: Work integration of people with cognitive disabilities, healthcare assistance at home for elderly people and support and learning of activities of daily living to promote independent life (led by the University of Zaragoza)
